We are family owned and operated. Our mission is to get families outdoors to spend quality time together and help them create memories that will last a lifetime!

Come enjoy the scenic Portage River! Spend an hour or the day with us enjoying the eagles, heron, turtles, and other abundant wildlife up close and personal! Take a trip down the river in Oak Harbor or rent by the hour from either of our locations.

Pan for gem stones, throw an axe, or pet a goat in Port Clinton or take a pedal boat or river trip out of Oak Harbor.

We are located just minutes from downtown Port Clinton and in downtown Oak Harbor. Come solo or bring the whole family! With options for single kayaks, double kayaks, canoes, pedal boats and stand-up paddleboards we have something for everyone.

The Portage River Paddling Company - Port Clinton is nestled on the scenic Portage River, just minutes from downtown Port Clinton, Ohio and Lake Erie. Located on 94 acres of pristine wildlife is where you'll find us.  Come visit the scenic Judy Island, home to our resident bald eagles nest.  Bring your fishing pole and try your luck.

The Portage River Paddling Company - Oak Harbor is located in the heart of downtown behind the iconic Oak Harbor Hardware Store.
